Dr. Sima Gupta founded Eyedeology in 2008. She had a vision to be able to provide full scope optometric care in a setting which nurtured relationships and trust. She graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. She also has a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Alabama. She has performed international vision care missions in Zimbabwe, India, and Honduras.  After practicing in New York City, Dr. Gupta moved to Midtown, Atlanta when she married her husband. They now have 2 young children, and when not busy seeing patients or chasing after her family, Dr. Gupta enjoys international travel, exploring organic cuisine, cycling and yoga.

Dr. Divya Bhakta is a native of Georgia. She grew up in Duluth, GA and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at The University of Georgia. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, where she was a member of  Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association and Georgia Optometric Association. In her spare time, Dr. Bhakta enjoys traveling, photography, cooking, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
